Solicitor and businesswoman Ritu Sethi, senior partner in the Harrow firm the Sethi Partnership, addressed the Capital Woman conference organised by the Mayor of London.
More than 2,000 delegates heard speakers such as the secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport, Tessa Jowell; paralympic athlete Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson and Alison Nimmo, head of planning for London’s Olympic bid. Ritu spoke on how Asian women could overcome stereotyping and racism, using her experiences as a working mother.
